THE BEACH

Explore the shoreline, spot amazing wildlife, take the plunge… wild swimming, kayaking (byo!) or  just toe dipping for the not so brave! Not to mention stone skimming, pond dipping in the rock  pools and kite flying...

As the sun sets behind the mountain peaks, the lochside bbq makes the most of the delicious local  catch of the day. When the twinkling lights of the cottage beckon, warming toddies or hot chocolate by the cosy fire mark the perfect end to a pretty special day!

BEYOND THE BEACH

Bag a Munro, the Torridon Mountains have 5!

Take the high road to Applecross and dine on freshly caught Langoustines by the shore. Discover the beauty and dramatic landscapes of the Isle of Skye.

Explore Scotland’s ‘jewel in the crown’, the picture postcard village of Plockton.

The Kyle Line

Definitely an added attraction!

A handful of trains toot as they pass the cottage each day as well as occasional visits by the Royal  Scotsman, Orient Express and even the odd steam train! Attadale Halt Station is just a  short walk from the cottage, and it’s one of a few remaining ‘Request Stops’, so flag down a train  and hop aboard!
